One question on the minds of many fans since the release of the season 2 trailer is whether or not stolas and blitz will break up. Let’s talk about it.
So far throughout season 1 and 2, it’s pretty clear that stolas and blitz have a complicated relationship. Stolas clearly wants to escalate things from an on and off again type of thing, to being a proper couple. However blitz refuses to budge, either from him being scared to lose stolas, or through worry from past trauma.
Throughout the new trailer it’s pretty clear that they’re hinting at a potential breakup. We see the pair crying and arguing several times, the apology tour segment, stolas’s dialogue and the introduction of a new character vassago, who many fans think could be a new partner for stolas.
In recent episodes there’s also been hints at this, such as stolas getting blitz an asmodean crystal so he can teleport freely without the need for the grimoire, therefore allowing blitz to be free from their deal where they meet every full moon.
Personally for me i think the pair will break up, but get back together shortly after. It’ll make their relationship more real since they’ll go through hardships like an actual relationship, but by the end of it they’ll be closer than ever and perhaps season 3 will mark a new chapter in their story together.
