In the new teaser we are given a lot of lore and perhaps it’s biggest spoiler as we can see that the movie draws heavily on the second game… probably because it’s the second movie. Duh.

It’s set in the original Freddy’s Pizzeria, has the withered animatronics with cameos from Balloon Boy and if we slow this footage down… that’s Mangle on top of the car

However the BIGGEST reveal is that the Marionette seems to be the main baddie of the film

Or is it?

We know that Puppet is the guardian spirit of Charlotte Emily, daughter of Fazbear Entertainment’s co-owner Henry Emily and first murdered child of William Afton

But why does this matter?

Well, in the trailer we see that the Puppet seemingly attacks a girl with blonde hair

A girl that looks eerily familiar to Vanessa Afton… daughter of Fazbear Entertainment’s other co-owner, William Afton

And with revenge on Charlotte’s mind, it only makes sense that Vanessa may actually have to protect herself by giving into fate and becoming Vanny. So…
