The second Avengers: Doomsday trailer confirms something devastating.

after Franklin richard, Doctor Doom targets Thor’s daughter, Love, because she carries a fragment of Eternity. Love senses the danger and warns Thor. Thor leaves her in New Asgard under Valkyrie’s protection and goes to warn the Avengers.

But before Thor can do anything, Asgard is attacked. Thor rushes back, only to find his home destroyed, Valkyrie defeated, and Love standing in Doctor Doom’s hands.

Without thinking, Thor attacks Doom.

But Doom completely overpowers him using both magic and science — and k!lls Thor.

When Thor opens his eyes, he finds himself in a strange forest, between life and death, realizing that he failed his daughter. That’s when he falls to his knees and begs Odin for one thing only — enough life to save Love one last time.
