Dhurandhar looked massive and exciting from the trailer, so I walked into the theatre expecting a high intensity spy thriller, but what I got was a film that mixes great scale with uneven choices. The world building, the music and some performances hit well, but the shaky action, the political tone and the late decision to split the film hold it back. It is still a strong theatrical watch for its ambition, yet far from ground breaking.
