What is going on in Star Wars: The Acolyte? Who is the DARKSIDE Force User we see at the end of this trailer? And why are they smiling? That smile looks a lot like the one worn by the force entity Abeloth! In legends, Abeloth was a mother-like figure to the Mortis gods: The Son, The Daughter, and The Father! She got Her dark side powers and her immortality by drinking from the Font of Power and bathing in the Pool of Knowledge. She’s crazy! And she’s desperate for followers! she wants to be worshipped … perhaps she does have a secret following and this Darkside user is one of her devout followers? It looks like Jedi are being taken over or possessed … which is exactly what Abeloth does in the Fate of the Jedi series! If the Acolyte does introduce Abeloth, this might help make a connection to the Ahsoka series, where Ahsoka and Sabine are trapped on a planet that has huge monuments honoring the Mortis Gods!
