Disney finally revealed what Stitch will look like in the live-action Lilo & Stitch movie, and I couldn’t be happier. The design is spot-on and exactly what I imagined. After the “Ugly Sonic” disaster, I was worried Stitch might suffer the same fate. Being an alien that’s supposed to resemble a dog, the design could’ve gone wrong in so many ways, as fan concepts have shown. Thankfully, Disney nailed it. Stitch looks just like he did in the animated movie, but with added fluff and texture that make him feel real. He’s got that perfect mix of dog and koala, just like Nani described in the original film. I’m beyond excited to see more when the official trailer drops! I’m also thrilled that Chris Sanders is returning to voice Stitch, keeping the character’s iconic sound intact. Overall, Disney nailed it, and I can’t wait to see more when the official trailer drops.
