The series is set in 1930s New York and follows an aging private investigator named Ben Reilly, who was once the cityâs only masked vigilante. Now heâs broke, worn out, and forced to confront his past as Spider-Man Noir.
Cage originally voiced this character in Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, but this time heâs stepping into the role in live action.
The show is inspired by the darker Spider-Man Noir comics â not the animated films â and it fully embraces the detective genre.
In fact, the series will be released in both black-and-white and color versions.
