The NEW General Conference Trailer is a Little OMINOUS! | (What Does It MEAN?)

by

The Prophet has been warned.

The latest General Conference ad from The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is unlike anything we’ve seen before. But what really makes this ad stand out isn’t just the invitation—it’s the eerie emptiness.

🏸 A vacant tennis court.
⛳ An abandoned golf course.
🧘 A deserted yoga studio.
🎣 An idle fishing boat.
🏊 A lifeless swimming pool.

And then, the final image: 👥 A group of people gathered, listening to Jesus Christ.

The words appear:

“What would you give up to hear the Savior speak?”

At first, it seems simple: “Hey, skip your weekend plans and come watch General Conference.” But let’s be honest—this feels heavier than that.

Why are these places empty?

Did people leave voluntarily? 🤔
Or was something taken from them? 😳

⛰️ “Let Them Flee Into the Mountains”
This immediately brings to mind Matthew 24, where Jesus Christ Himself warns about the last days:

“When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place… Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains: Let him which is on the housetop not come down to take anything out of his house: Neither let him which is in the field return back to take his clothes.”
(Matthew 24:15-18, KJV)

Drop everything and GO. 🏃💨

When destruction is coming, there is no time to gather your things. No time for one last round of golf. No time to grab your yoga mat. No time to cast one more line in the lake. When the moment comes, you either listen—or you perish.

This prophecy was fulfilled in 70 A.D., when Jerusalem was destroyed by the Romans. But Latter-day Saints know that prophecy repeats itself. The same warning applies to us today.

⚠️ What If This Ad Is Prophetic?
We live in a world that is obsessed with entertainment, luxury, and distractions. 📱🍿🎮🏀 We fill our time with sports, vacations, social media, and hobbies.

But what happens when those things no longer matter?

President Russell M. Nelson has pleaded with us:

“I plead with you to increase your spiritual capacity to receive revelation… Choose to do the spiritual work required to enjoy the gift of the Holy Ghost and hear the voice of the Spirit more frequently and more clearly.”
(April 2020 General Conference, “Hear Him”) 🗣️✨

For years, the prophets have told us to hear Him. But when Christ actually speaks, will we even recognize His voice?

And what happens to the world when people refuse to listen?

The haunting emptiness in this ad may foreshadow what happens when the world’s distractions are suddenly stripped away.

🔥 What happens when Babylon falls?
💀 What happens when the idols of our age crumble?
⏳ What happens when Christ speaks, and we realize—too late—that we never really knew Him?

🌍 The World Will Empty Itself
We’ve already seen a preview of this. Remember 2020?

🏟️ Sports arenas stood silent.

🎭 Theaters and gyms were abandoned.

🛍️ Shopping malls became ghost towns.

For a brief moment, people had to ask: What actually matters?

Some used that time to turn to Christ. Most did not.

Now, the world has moved on. But the next time the world stands still, it won’t be because of a virus.

President Nelson has warned:

“The time is coming when those who do not obey the Lord will be separated from those who do.”
(October 2020 General Conference, “Let God Prevail”)⏳⚖️

When that moment comes, the only thing that will matter is:
Will you be ready to hear Christ?

1️⃣ We can willingly leave behind the world’s distractions to follow Christ now.
2️⃣ Or we can wait until those distractions are forcibly taken away.

Either way, the world will be emptied.

Either we will walk away from our distractions to follow Christ,
or God will empty the world for us.

The General Conference ad asks:
“What would you give up to hear Him?”

But the real question is:
What will you be forced to give up—when it’s too late?

👀 The world as we know it will not last.
👂 Jesus Christ will speak.
❓ Will we be ready to hear Him?
