Mark was still needed after the fight with conquest to help search for survivors, as both the Invincible war and Conquest had caused widespread devastation on earth. Our friendly clanker Robot helped Mark by creating prosthetic armor that helped his bones heal and recover, while still maintaining enough strength to lift heavy objects without risking further injury.
